A wild weekend of NFL football saw three games come down to the very end and the chances of a Purdue player getting a Super Bowl ring are getting a little lower, especially in the AFC. With eight teams left here is who to keep an eye on in next weekend’s Divisional Round:

Saturday 4:35pm ET, NBC

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City ChiefsThis will be a tough one for Purdue fans as neither team has a former Purdue player. Akeem Hunt spent some time in Kansas City a few years ago, but it has been awhile since our in-state NFL team has had a regular Boiler.

8:15pm, FOX

Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams – The Rams don’t have anyone, but cornerback Anthony Brown starts for Dallas and will play extensively. In last night’s 24-22 win over Seattle Brown had a tackle, but the Rams’ offense is quite potent, so he’ll be tested.

Sunday 1:05pm ET, CBS

Los Angeles Chargers at New England PatriotsThe Chargers have a better overall record, but since they didn’t win the division they are on the road yet again. They don’t have any Boilers, but Ja’Whaun Bentley is on injured reserve with New England and would get a ring if the Pats win yet again. There is also Danny Etling! Yes, he finished his career at LSU, but Danny was a Boiler for two years and it is not his faulty was Shooped out of Purdue. Elton is on the practice squad for New England and might be an heir apparent for Tom Brady.

4:40pm, FOX

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans SaintsPhiladelphia is still alive to defend its title, but going into the Superdome will be a challenge. Of course, our own Drew Brees is going for a second Super Bowl and is trying to pad is Hall of Fame resume. Brees might be the regular season MVP and he already broke a number of NFL records this year. Another ring is the perfect career capper.
