All-American Bowl: How to Watch

Yes, this is actually relevant to Purdue.

I know we got used to not caring about the All-American Bowl because no incoming Purdue players were ever in it under previous regimes, but that is why Jeff Brohm is changing things. Last season Rondale Moore committed to Purdue during the game and it seemed to work out pretty well for us. This year we have THREE players with Purdue ties.

First off you have George Karlaftis. He will be wearing No. 42 and playing for the East squad. 247Sports has him as one of the highest rated players in the entire country at No. 11 and as the incredibly rare 5-star prospect at Purdue. There is much excitement around him and for good reason.

Joining him on the East roster on offense is Kyle Bilodeau, who will No. 37 and play Tight End. The TE from Woodberry Forest, Virginia was a very good get as a 3-star prospect and is also already signed and sealed.

The final player to keep an eye on is perhaps the jewel of the class. Warren Central receiver David Bell will wear No. 4 for the East and will make his final announcement during the game itself. He is expected to choose Purdue, giving the No. 82 player overall according to 247 and No. 70 according to Rivals. The 4-star playmaker would be the final addition to an already excellent recruiting class.

The game will be at 1pm Saturday and televised nationally on NBC.
