Let’s party like it is 2004 because a Purdue player has actual Heisman odds! The last time you could say that Kyle Orton was slinging balls to Taylor Stubblefield, GameDay was coming to West Lafayette, and The Fumble was in lower case letters. Thanks to BEtOnline we have early Heisman odds for 2019, and Rondale Moore is on there:

Yeah, that’s a longshot for sure. The last time a non-running back or quarterback won the Heisman was Charles Woodson in 1997 as a cornerback and punt returner. The last player that was primarily a wide receiver to win was Desmond Howard in 1991, and he had 62 catches for 985 yards and 19 touchdowns as well as two rushing TDs and a punt return TD.
Moore did lead the nation in receptions in 2018, however, and established a new school record for all-purpose yardage in a single season, so who knows. Obviously Purdue is going to have to win a lot for him o have a chance, but it is nice to see him have some recognition.
