This was an interesting In Tweets. People are getting contentious with other fans right now. Last night after the game we had Michigan fans even come at us for a tweet that said we would take Brohm over Harbaugh with Michigan’s level of talent because we were now 0-3. I did some firing back, mostly reminding them that Purdue has a better record than Michigan against Ohio State this century.
Of course, there was still a lot to say about our game. Here is what went down on Twitter during a record night from David Blough:
I think it was an internet transaction. So, someone should have gotten an email.

Last year, when Purdue played at Mizzou, SEC Network covered the game and used big dial thermometers to show how hot it was at the game.

Today, BTN is also showing the temperature at Ross-Ade w/ a dial thermometer.
These guys just love on-field temperatures.

Purdue deployed its "Panther" defense for what I believe was the first time this year. It's a unique 3-3-5 look instead of Purdue's usual 4-2-5 nickel. And I note this, mainly, because I've been waiting all year to tweet this gif. pic.twitter.com/1BpQGRmgEN

According to our group chat, @JustTMill was in the beer line when Purdue got their opening touchdown.

Can we start a GoFundMe page so he can stay in line and keep buying beer?

It's Terry Wright's first TD.

Beer line could be crowded place if his defensive effort keeps up.

My morning has consisted of running four miles and eating three Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and five slices of colby jack cheese so yeah, I’m ready to be back at Purdue.

@HammerAndRails Commentator: Whatever you do, don’t give up points in the last 2 minutes of this half.
— Harrison Metz (@HarrisonMetz) September 16, 2018
Purdue fans: Christ I wish
@HammerAndRails So proud of this team. Battling back, keeping their heads. We showed this during the Northwestern game. I think Eastern Michigan was our Rutgers game, an outlier. If we can make some adjustments at halftime, preferably begin the half with a score, oh baby!

@HammerAndRails Missouri’s 5/15 3rd sown conversion rate is so deceiving with all the 4th down conversions they have.
— Harrison Metz (@HarrisonMetz) September 16, 2018
Yo if the basketball team was consistently making DUMB FUCKING PENALTIES like this at the end of games ya'll would've TORCHED Painter's house by now. https://t.co/IY756SmbI9

Missouri fans were mad at me for their ranking last week (61), and now Purdue QB David Blough has thrown for nearly 600 yards. I just can't trust Mizzou until they do something actually impressive.
— Chris Vannini (@ChrisVannini) September 16, 2018
for a good coach, jeff brohm’s team commits a lot of brain dead penalties in key spots
— crimson quarry (@crimsonquarry) September 16, 2018
It only took them 7 years, but Mizzou finally got revenge after Matt Painter rejected them.
— #JuansTheOne2028 (@Air_Force_Juan) September 16, 2018
Remember how easy mizzou marched down the field after Purdue tied it at 37? Maybe let’s not fixate in that Sparks screwjob too much.
— PU Boiling Points (@PUBoilingPoints) September 16, 2018
... Brohm & staff will get D better. It may take time, but with best recruiting class we’ve ever assembled coming in + more 4 Stars in 1 class than Hope & Hazell brought in combined program is once again to point where people like me want to go to games.
— Doug Griffiths (@DougGriffMAX983) September 16, 2018
Purdue fans this year: Blough doesn’t go down the field.. he’s boring.. Sindelar is at least exciting
— Albert Evans (@Albert_T32) September 16, 2018
Me: there’s always a reason a guy starts over another ... even last year before injury.
Fans: but he won the bowl game!
Blough: sets record
Fans: we love you David
Me:
Totally, on paper, Purdue has the least talented defense in the Big10 in terms of recruiting. The offense isn't much better.

I've said this all week. I believe Jeff Brohm will have this team in every game, we must find a way to make the winning plays at the end of games. This team is so close. Stay on board Boiler Nation. #BoilerUp
