Missouri at Purdue: GameThread & How to Watch

Time to get the season back on track.

NCAA Football: Purdue at Missouri Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time since 1941 Purdue is hosting an SEC team. The last time this happened Purdue lost to Vanderbilt 3-0 on September 27, 1941. At least next season we will have a shot at revenge.

But today we need to turn the season around. Drew Lock and Emmanuel Hall are a dynamic passing duo and Purdue has a lot to clean up as a football team. The season is very much in the balance after last week’s loss to Eastern Michigan. Our 0-2 record can easily spiral into 0-5 if we’re not careful.

Conversely, a win tonight over a good Missouri team can turn things around and we can be 4-2 going into the Ohio State game. It feels like to have any realistic shot at a bowl game we need this game or the next one. Going 0-4 int he first four home games is a major step back and ends the season early, so let’s make a statement.

Hopefully by the time this posts I am in my seat. I am doing the double today of Miami at Toledo at noon and Missouri at Purdue at 7:30pm.
