By the time Purdue finished last season it was daling with multiple injuries, as most football teams do. In torn ACLs alone we had Richie Worship, Elijah Sindelar, Keiwan Jones, and Grant Hermanns. A few of those guys are still dealing with those injuries, while some others have taken early knocks just five days into fall camp. Here is what we know thanks to Mike DeFabo of CHI Media and Mike Carmin of the Lafayette Journal & Courier:
Richie Worship - Probably the biggest name on this list, Worship was hurt late last season and is still battling the ACL:
Fellow running back Richie Worship (ACL) is taking longer than expected to return from his surgery. Brohm said that he will be out at least another week or two and then the staff will reevaluate where to go from there.
Branson Deen - The most serious injury to actually happen in camp, Deen is out for a few weeks now with a torn meniscus. he is a true freshman that could provide depth on the defensive line.
Keiwan Jones - Jones is int he same boat as Worship recovering from an ACL, but it is farther along than Worship.
Markell Jones - Markell is limited with a minor hand injury.
Giavanni Reviere - He has a minor foot injury.
Cornel Jones - Jones left the last practice with back spasms.
Shane Evans - The offensive guard is limited with a hamstring issue.
