In Tweets is always one of my favorite columns to write. Of course, there really isn’t a ton of writing to it. It is mostly just gathering a ton of tweets during the course of the game, then sifting through them afterward to share the collective fan experience.
Consider this lesson 1 on how you, too can be a successful blogger.
Anyway, it is a good way to look back on any game. If it is a win, we share in the experience. If it is the Hazell years, it is a great way to vent our disgust. Even last night it was a lot of fun, mostly seeing how not just Purdue fans, but the nation reacted to Rondale Moore. There will be plenty more of that as the season goes along. For now, let’s take a look back at what hte Twitterverse had to say about last night’s game.

If you’re going to be this mad all night this is going to be a lot of fun https://t.co/Ags3O6ZDAz
— dril book reader (@CheesyCheesy2) August 31, 2018
Defense looks as uninvested in this game as possible. Kason looked like he had zero interest in tackling on that big run.
— Harrison Metz (@HarrisonMetz) August 31, 2018
Is it too early to start #Moore4Heisman trending?
— Tim (@timboman33) August 31, 2018
Holy god - rondale is amazing
— David Richardson (@DRhockey73) August 31, 2018
I dunno, you could probably catch up once you hit terminal velocity, but your cornering would be for shit.

Aren’t you engineers supposed to be good at math? https://t.co/WtK7XTmtip
— Black Shoe Diaries (@BSDtweet) August 31, 2018
He meant 240 tds.
— Makblunt (@WhoDatsSaints) August 31, 2018
I'm taking the over.
Might have been a bit early to give Northwestern the gold Medill.
— The Official Kirk Ferentz Fan Club Account (@PV_GIA) August 31, 2018
I said NYC for Rondale Moore for camp as a joke. Not looking like a joke right now.
— Brian Neubert (@brianneubert) August 31, 2018
Holy hell, Rondale Moore is a goddamn cheat code.
— The Champaign Room (@Champaign_Room) August 31, 2018
Fact: If the season ended at this second, Rondale Moore would be your Heisman winner
— College Football by SB Nation (@SBNationCFB) August 31, 2018
That's. That looked like a blown up play. He turned it into a 70 yard td. My God.
— Casey Bartley (@CaseyBartleyhr) August 31, 2018
Folks, it's early, but Purdue's new strategy of recruiting players who are very good at football seems to be paying off for them
— Matt Brown (@MattSBN) August 31, 2018
Hey remember when Rondale Moore dropped a pass?
— Brian Neubert (@brianneubert) August 31, 2018
Michigan doesn’t play Rondale Moore this year and I’m very okay with that
— Ace Anbender (@AceAnbender) August 31, 2018
192 all-purpose yards. Still a minute left in the first quarter. https://t.co/1PL27uHI5Q
— Purdue Football (@BoilerFootball) August 31, 2018
So, it appears every game is going to be roughly a 45-42ish score - just a matter of which side we’re on.
— David Richardson (@DRhockey73) August 31, 2018
Good thing Rondale Moore can squat 600 pounds because he's carrying the Purdue offense on his shoulders tonight.
— #JuansTheOne2028 (@Air_Force_Juan) August 31, 2018
it's been a while since i'm screamed obscenities at the tv, i'm a little out of breath
— Aneesh Ramaswamy (@aneeshswamy) August 31, 2018
We've survived through much worse football than this. I'm still in the "just happy to be competitive " phase still. Fun to watch
— Boiler Up (@purdueboiler83) August 31, 2018
#purdue technically making its first red zone possession of the night, although, it's not like Moore was going to pause there en route to the end zone.
— Nathan Baird (@nbairdjc) August 31, 2018
Rondale Moore's 302 all-purpose yards tonight is the No. 3 total in Purdue history, 10 behind the record of 312.
— Gregg Doyel (@GreggDoyelStar) August 31, 2018
It's halftime.
Wish he was there to make Isaac’s elbow brace.....
— Jeff Hyatt (@JHyatt317) August 31, 2018
Yet cancer remains. Get on that Rondale!
— MPLSKurt (@krvogler) August 31, 2018
Don't know what they said to the D at the half, but it seems to have worked so far.
— SkekTek Hough (@SkekTek) August 31, 2018
I feel like he probably isn't gonna redshirt after this performance.
— Inside NU (@insidenu) August 31, 2018
Purdue sure did their best impression of 17-18 Illini Basketball end of game play.
— The Champaign Room (@Champaign_Room) August 31, 2018
Unbelievably stupid play by Lorenzo Neal. Who knows if #Purdue comes back but to put the nail in your own coffin is unacceptable .
