Today’s player is one of the most hyped to come into the program in a long time, and Thursday night he can shine.
Rondale Moore - Fr.
Louisville, KY (Trinity HS)
5’9”, 175 pounds
2018 Projection: Starter at Wide Receiver
Everyone is excited to see Moore take the field. Through a pair of episodes on Gold & Black days he has shined, even gaining the favor of Oscar Brohm, the Brohm family patriarch. He has speed to burn, is ridiculously strong, and is sure handed. He is a new toy that Jeff Brohm gets to play with. That means he’ll find a ton of ways to get the ball to him.
Last season at Trinity HS in Louisville Moore was the Gatorade Kentucky Player of the Year as the Rocks went 15-0 and won the Class 6A state championship. He finished with incredible numbers of 109 receptions, 1,478 yards, and 16 touchdowns. For good measure he added 537 rushing yards and seven more touchdowns rushing.
Moore is going to play from day 1, and may even be involved on kickoff and punt returns. I think his ceiling is to be the next Dorien Bryant. Bryant left Purdue with more than 6,000 total yards, a school record. Moore could break that.
