2018 Big Ten Football Media Days: Day 1 How to Watch

NCAA Football: Purdue at Rutgers Dennis Schneidler-USA TODAY Sports

It’s time for one of the most useless parts of the football season: Big Ten Media Days! Our friends over at InsideNU have the right idea with their own Pat Fitzgerald bingo. Every coach is “Excited to be there’ and “excited to get started”. Comments about lean muscle gains and offseason work are made. It really is all the same. I have been to two of these and the only thing of substance often comes from the players in the roundtable interviews on day 2. Coachspeak is in full effect.

Today we get the opening invocation by Jim Delaney and the first seven of the 14 coaches. This includes our own Jeff Brohm. Here is the full schedule for today, and everything will be aired live on BTN:

PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULE Monday, July 23

12:30 p.m. ET | Jim Delany, Big Ten Commissioner

1:00 p.m. ET | Scott Frost, Nebraska

1:15 p.m. ET | Pat Fitzgerald, Northwestern

1:30 p.m. ET | James Franklin, Penn State

1:45 p.m. ET | Jeff Brohm, Purdue

2:00 p.m. ET | P.J. Fleck, Minnesota

2:15 p.m. ET | Chris Ash, Rutgers

2:30 p.m. ET | Jim Harbaugh, Michigan

Tomorrow Paul can probably get us something from Elijah Sindelar, David Blough, and Markus Bailey. Yes, Brohm will be asked about 15 times on who will start between Blough and Sindelar. No, he is not going to say who it is.
