2018 Projection: Back Up Long Snapper
Never heard of Ryan Sadkowski? He is our back up, just in case Ben Makowski were to ever go down. Ryan walked on the team in 2016, but has not played a down for us. Mostly because Ben has been so damn solid.
Sadkowski walked on during his sophomore year at Purdue. He has been named to the All-B1G academic team, which is no small feat. Barring injury, we will never see Ryan snap the football here at Purdue, maybe on Senior Night (?)
Sadkowski has been the perfect practice squad long snapper. It is always nice to have a guy that doesn’t mess the long snap up when trying to give our 1’s some looks.
