If you’re looking for a walk-on that may emerge as a contributor in the future look for today’s player.

Bryce Brown - So.

Evansville, IN (Evansville North HS)

6’1”, 295 pounds

Offensive Line

2018 Projection: Possible contributor on the offensive line

Brown comes to us from Evansville North High School, and he was a walk-on before the 2016 season. The reason he may contribute going forward is that he was listed as a backup last season to Kirk Barron at center.

According to his Scout profile he was receiving interest from Kentucky, Ball State, and Louisville. He even has a nice highlight video. With two years of experience in the program he is definitely in the running to back up Barron this season and potentially start in time. Remember: Barron is a senior this season. We need someone to move into that spot and Brown could be that player next season.
