Purdue Football Recruiting: Cam Craig Commits!

This evening, Purdue received commitment #6 from Offensive Tackle, Cam Craig. Craig is a mean S.O.B. out of Ohio. Rivals has him at 6’5”, 265 pounds, but his personal HUDL page has him at 6’5”, 285.

After watching his film I would say he is closer to 280. He is a beast. Cam has went under the radar for the most part. He mostly had offers from MAC schools, but he also held an offer from Cincinnati.

Cam really jumps out on film, he can pull, his school runs power quite often, he is pulling from the left side of the line and it appears to be getting the #2 man outside the box, an OLB or safety. He not only gets there with his speed, but he is athletic enough to latch on and get a dominating block.

Currently, Cam is unranked, but expect him to be in the 3* range once the “experts” start breaking his film down with his commitment. This weekend, Purdue held their first camp for high school players. Anyone is allowed to come and some are invited, they held prospect camp #1 yesterday, my bet is that Cam was there and they liked what they saw.
