We’re about a third of the way through the countdown and our parade of walk-on offensive linemen continues today with a sophomore from Noblesville.

2018 Projection: Deep Reserve on the Offensive Line
you can never have enough offensive linemen, so Ferguson is going to provide depth along the interior line. This will be his third year with the program after joining the team as a walk-on in 2016 and redshirting that year. Still, he’ll be pretty far down the depth chart.
Ferguson is a walk-on from nearby Noblesville HS, where he is part of a team that plays a ridiculously hard schedule every season. They play in the tough Hoosier Crossroads Conference, featuring teams such as Zionsville, Westfield, Hamilton Southeastern, Avon, and Fishers. If that isn’t hard enough, when they get to the state tournament their reward is often Carmel.
For much of his career the Millers were around .500 as they battled those state powers week-in, week-out. He was also an accomplished track and field athlete. In his senior year he was the Hamilton County and Sectional champion in the shot put as well as the Conference and Sectional champion in the discus. He throws things well, so hopefully he can throw defensive linemen.
