Purdue is on some kind of heater after their busy weekend of official visits. Dontay Hunter, a high 3*, 6’5, 220 pound defensive end/outside linebacker out of Westerville, Ohio verbally committed to Purdue today over offers from Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Rutgers, and a host of other major college programs.

Hunter brings the length that Purdue is looking for on the edge at defensive end/outside linebacker. Hunter is able to use his long arms to create separation at the the point of attack and get to either they QB or ball carrier. His length also makes the short passing game difficult for opposing QBs.

More to come tomorrow on Purdue’s newest impact recruit.
