Monnot is almost certainly a developmental lineman that will redshirt next season. He is a 2-star commit according to Rivals and and is a 3-star according to 247. He is listed at 6’5” 285 pounds, so he’ll definitely need a year in the weight room. He comes to us from Joliet Catholic in Illinois, the same school that gave us Mike Alstott a long time ago.
Here are his highlights:
Again, he is probably a developmental guy, but that is fine. Give him another year of high school and a year in the weight room to develop and he will be a fine addition. He definitely fits what Brohm wants in versatile, lean linemen that can play uptempo.
