Purdue Football Draft: Pick 16

I am gonna keep trusting my redshirt guys. Purdue has quite a few guys coming off of their redshirt year and it is about trust in the coaching staff with them. these are the first guys recruited by Jeff Brohm & Co., and they all have a year in the new system before hitting the field. We all saw what the coaches can do with experienced players last year. Now we get to see what they can do with the new guys. that’s why i am excited to pick another redshirt freshman.

Kenneth Major - Cornerback

This gives my defense both projected starting corners. Major is from Hopkinsville, Kentucky and a teammate of wide receiver KeyRon Catlett. He was a First Team All-State selection and along with Dedrick Mackey, came out of the spring as one of the top corners on the team. It is a gamble, but if both work out we’re set at cornerback for four years.
