Well, I do believe I got the steal of the draft here.
Travis is worried about Eli’s knees, 9 months after surgery. While he may not be ready game one or game two, I think he is the QB Jeff Brohm will roll with this season.
So, as you can tell already, I am taking...
Elijah Sindelar - Quarterback
Eli led us to three straight wins and a bowl victory. He was the unquestioned leader of the team after David Blough went down with the ankle injury.
While there is a chance that he doesn’t play early on, I like my chances here to have a guy that will be better by the end of the season. Will we see how the time is split, if Coach Brohm wants to have one guy run the show or split it between the two.
Honestly, I can see it go either way. Last year worked, so why not. We still have that stable of running backs, so I pondered the thought of taking one of those guys, but with Blough gone, he basically forced my hand, I couldn’t allow him to have both quarterbacks, or I would for sure lose the match up.
But for now, I got the steal of the draft. Sindelar with the 3rd overall pick? No brainer.
I am interested if T-Mill will look to the defensive side of the ball for his 2nd pick and 4th overall in the draft.
