Purdue Football Facilities Are Amazing

Today was a good day.

Today I had the opportunity to take a tour of the new football facilities at Purdue.

We had our Region 4 Coach’s Clinic, in relation with Purdue. The first half of the afternoon was held at Purdue. We got a great tour of the Purdue Facilities and were able to watch spring practice right after the tour.

I am going to tell you right now, my pictures are not going to do the facility justice. If you ever get the chance, you should tour this place. It is truly amazing.

Now, let me bombard you with some pictures - sorry they are all sideways.

Like I said, sorry for the sideways one - no idea why they are like that.

Later in the evening, we moved over the West Lafayette Country Club for the clinic, to gain knowledge. There were speakers from all levels there - I was most looking forward to hearing Coach Barclay talk.

This was his first clinic he has spoken at and he did a great job. I can see now why our running backs improved so much over the course of last season. Coach Barclay has attention to detail and the little thing matters at a position that has so much impact on the game.

It truly was neat, as Coach Brohm, Holt, Barclay, Johnson and Poindexter were there freely mingling with all of us high school coaches giving advice to us and drinking some adult beverages, all while talking about the sport we all love, football.

Thank you again to Purdue for being such a great leader in the community.
