Purdue will be hosting 5th year transfer, Nick Norton from UAB in the coming weeks.
UAB grad transfer Nick Norton tells me he plans to visit Purdue after his Ohio State visit. Should be sometime in mid April.

It appears that Norton will also visit Ohio State, who is on the transfer market again, as they will graduate Andrew Dakich and Kam Williams, both who played point guard for them this past year. They are looking for a buffer season, then recent Florida State Transfer will be eligible in the fall of 2019.
After losing four seniors, Purdue is looking for someone to be in the rotation at point guard. My best guess is that Coach Painter would love to keep Carsen off the ball where he is better suited, but will run some point as well.
Norton is reliable, nearly starting every game for the Blazers in 4 years, except in his junior year where he suffered an injury I would assume, as he was only in for one game.
At UAB, Norton was solid. His career averages are at 7.6 points per game and 4.8 assists while only turning the ball over 1.6 per game.
Norton would be a welcomed addition for next season. We will continue to watch his transfer.
