The first Big Ten Tournament took place 20 years ago and the final was Purdue against Michigan. Because of various NCAA violations the game DID NOT HAPPEN. Sure, there are records that state Michigan won 76-67, but since they had to vacate that season it DID NOT HAPPEN! IT’S LIKE SECRET SCRIMMAGE! WE DO NOT DISCUSS IT!
Anyway, for the third time this year we will play the Michigan Wolverines, who have won 7 straight Big Ten Tournament games. The record is 8, held by Ohio State who won 3 in 2010, 3 in 2011, and lost the 2012 title game. Purdue has already beaten Michgian twice this year, and another win would fill this narrative:
Big Ten 3 plays this year:

Purdue swept Rutgers
Michigan swept Iowa
Penn State swept Ohio state
Michigan State swept Wisconsin
Good news if Purdue beats Penn State to face Michigan.
Purdue is very likely a 2 seed. A win gives us an outside shot at a 1 seed. Regardless, we would tie the school record for victories in a season with a win.
Let’s hang another Big Ten banner in Mackey.
