Purdue Football: Alfred Armour is a Boilermaker

An in state athlete is coming to Purdue as a preferred walk-on.

March has been complete Madness.

So, let’s slow it all down with a little football news.

Alfred is coming to West Lafayette from in state powerhouse Warren Central. I will be honest, I do not know much on him.

But, I do know he is an athlete. At Warren Central he played both Linebacker and Running Back. He was all city at the running back position, all state as an athlete, and was all conference (MIC).

According to his HUDL page, he is strong as a moose.

Squats 550, Benches 300 and runs a 4.78 forty. Those are all great measurables for someone who is coming to Purdue as a walk on.

Physically he looks like he is ready to step on a college field at 6’1”, 220 Pounds. I am unsure if he will play RB or LB, but we need depth at both. Coach Barclay RT’d his commitment, so maybe it is RB.

Take a peak at his highlights. Welcome to Purdue. Boiler Up!
