Coach Brohm said from day 1 he was going to recruit this state.
His 2018 class had three in state players.
2019 already sits at two, with the commitment tonight of All-State Outside Linebacker Chase Triplett from Michigan City High School. More is to come from the state of Indiana as well, with a plethora of offers out to in state kids, such as Eli Pancol and David Bell.

Triplett was on campus yesterday and was offered. Apparently, he had seen enough and decided to give his verbal to our Boilermakers. Triplett stands at 6’3”, 215 pounds, playing outside linebacker.
Steve Wiltfong says there is potential that he may be a DL down the road.

While I am not in total agreement with that, I could see him playing a rush end role if he continues to grow and put on weight, similar to Danny E this past season. Triplett is a great early get for this class, a class that will start gaining traction as spring goes on.
Chase is an absolute physical specimen. He has long arms and great closing speed. He plays in a tough conference in northern Indiana, where there are plenty of Division 1 Athletes.
Welcome to Purdue, Boiler Up!
