Impact: Purdue has had a lot of success with its tight ends in Bryce Hopkins and Cole Herdman, so signing Miller is a big one with Herdman graduating. He is a lanky TE with some room to grow on his frame so he can serve either as a blocker or as a receiver. This past season he had 29 receptions for 589 yards and 5 touchdowns for a Round Rock team that was 7-5. They were primarily a running team, too, as they had over 4,000 yards rushing and about 1,800 yards passing as a unit.
Miller will be a pretty good addition tot he Brohmfense. He is probably a redshirt candidate in year one, but with Herdman graduating there is a possibility he could play immediately.
