Kpaka is a defensive end out of the Lone Star State, who wasn’t offered by any of the big Texas schools. That probably has put a chip on his shoulder. His lone in state offer? Texas State.
Surprise, he could play at Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and TCU.
They will regret not offering him a scholarship to keep him in state. But, we will welcome him with open arms.
Kpaka probably will end up as a defensive end in our scheme. He is a pass rusher, but does a great job of peeling off of his pass rush to stuff the run if need be. His 40 is right at a 4.8, after a redshirt year, our strength staff will have him as a 4.7, terrorizing quarterbacks for years to come.
I really like Kpaka. I see a redshirt year coming his way, just to get bigger, faster and stronger. After a year to redshirt, he will find his way on the field.
Welcome to Purdue!
