Purdue Football Recruiting: Wandale Robinson Announcement

Wandale Robinson has announced via Twitter that he will make his college decision tomorrow, November 1st.

Wandale comes from the same mold of Rondale Moore, a type of gadget player that can basically do it all for his team. He can play in the backfield, line up as a slot, do kick returns and punt returns.

Wandale, who is rated a 4* by 247 sports, is out of the state of Kentucky which has been so kind to us when it comes to recruiting since Coach Brohm has gotten to Purdue. Wandale is about 5’9”, 180 Pounds, sounds familiar, right ?

When he announced his top 5, it was down to Purdue, Alabama, Kentucky, Nebraska and Ohio State. These are the types of battles we are going to have to get used to when we are going after top tier recruits.

As of this morning, the 247 Sports Crystal Ball Prediction has Wandale as a 73% lean towards Nebraska. With Ohio State coming in 2nd with a 19% chance. Obviously the emergence of Rondale Moore has to have helped us with the recruiting of Wandale, as they are similar, and there is always room for two of these guys.

This season, according to Kentucky High Football Twitter, Wandale has scored 41 Touchdowns, leading the state in scoring by 50 points.

We will be looking for Wandale’s commitment tomorrow, look for an update tomorrow evening.
