It was a rough one this past week at Michigan State, but we’re back home at Ross-Ade Stadium to face our Most Hated Rivals. The Hawkeyes also enter with a ranking, and after losing something like 18 straight against ranked teams Purdue is 2-0 against the top 25 this season. Here is a look at the depth chart this week.
OFFENSE
QB: 1. David Blough 2. Elijah Sindelar
RB: 1. D.J. Knox 2. Markell Jones. 3. Tario Fuller 4. Alexander Horvath

RG: 1. Dennis Edwards 2. Bearooz Yacoobi
RT: 1. Matt McCann 2. Eric Swingler
TE: 1. Cole Herdman OR Brycen Hopkins 2. Darius Pittman
Officially there are no changes offensively, and that is a testament to how lucky Purdue has been with injuries this year. Among the skill players here only Catlett doesn’t play a ton, as even Burgess gets in situationally.

Again, there are no defensive changes. We’re mostly here for the redsshirt watch. Willie Lane has played in four games now and is at his limit if he is going to hang on to his redshirt. Elijah Ball is at three gamesand has one left to use.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Punter: 1. Joe Schopper 2. Jake Herr
Kicker: 1. Spencer Evans 2. J.D. Dellinger
Kickoffs: 1. Spencer Evans 2. Myles Homan
Long Snapper: 1. Ben Makowski 2. Ryan Sadkowski
Holder: 1. Joe Schopper 2. Jake Herr
Kick Returns: 1. Rondale Moore 2. D.J. Knox
Punt Returns: 1. Rondale Moore 2. Jackson Anthrop
Schopper had a career long 74 yard punt on Saturday and it looked to be a game-changer, but Purdue’s soft coverage led to Michigan State’s first touchdown after it. At the time it flipped the field and made it look like we were going to have a 6-6 tie at the half.
