Could this be a battle for Big Ten West supremacy?

Last season Purdue earned a surprising win in Iowa City to springboard its way to an unexpected bowl game. The Boilers used a dominating defense and a pair of Anthony Mahoungou touchdown receptions to walk away with a 24-15 win, setting up a bowl elimination game for the Old Oaken Bucket.

Now the stakes will be higher, and we have a kickoff time:

This could be a matchup between a pair of ranked teams if Purdue wins in East Lansing this week. It also could have a huge stake in who wins the Big Ten West. Purdue, Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Iowa all have one conference loss, but Wisconsin and Northwestern have an edge with wins over Iowa and Purdue, respectively. Wisconsin plays Northwestern this week, while Iowa must travel to Penn State.

And of course, this is Our Most Hated Rivals, so it should be a fun late afternoon kickoff.
