Purdue Basketball Recruiting: Malik Hall Announces Top 3

Did Purdue make the cut?

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-East Regional-Purdue vs Texas Tech Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

This afternoon, highly sought after recruit, Malik Hall announced his top 3.

Purdue has long been after Malik, maybe the longest of the bunch. Malik is from Christian Sun Rise Academy, the same school that Matt Haarms came from.

Malik has narrowed it down to Purdue, MSU and Oregon. I am unsure who the front runner is for his services. Michigan State, of course came in late after letting Purdue do most of the leg work of his recruitment. Oregon, for some reason, has been in many recruiting battles with Purdue as of late.

The combo forward will make his decision soon according to his Twitter. This would be a great get for the end of the 2019 class, one which has developed nicely with: Isaiah Thompson, Mason Gillis and Brandon Newman, all three which are from the state of Indiana.

Malik has a game that would fit perfect for Purdue. He is the exact type of 34 that Purdue has bee after in recent years, the Vincent Edwards mold.
