A TV network has not formally been announced yet, but it will likely be BTN, FS1, or one of the ESPNs.
Purdue has not beaten Michigan State since a 17-15 win in 2006 in East Lansing. There have been a lot of off years in between, however, as the Spartan win streak is only at seven in a row. Strangely, this was the one team that Darrell Hazell could play close with consistency during his tenure. Purdue only lost 24-21 in 2015, 45-31 on a late pick six in 2014, and 14-0 in 2013. Danny Hope also lost a pair of games 35-31 and 40-37 in his first two seasons, so the last five meetings have been close.
Also, this is not a homecoming game, so Purdue can’t improve on its 3-0 homecoming record.
