For the second straight week Purdue has the Big Ten Player of the Week. Last week it was Carsen Edwards, but he had to share the honor with James Palmer Jr. of Nebraska. This week it was Vince Edwards after he had a career week.

First it was a new career high Thursday night against Michigan in Mackey Arena. Vince went off for 30 points and added five rebounds and five assists. For good measure he wasa ble to close the Michigan game out at the line.
Then there was yesterday against Indiana in Bloomington. He had 19 points and 7 rebounds as Purdue earned its second straight victory in Assembly Hall and third in the past four years.
Purdue has been so versatile this season that Vince is the third difference player to earn Player of the Week honors. In addition to Carsen last week Isaac Haas earned Player of the Week honors back in early December. Haas easily could have won it this past week, too.
