The first NBA season for Caleb Swanigan has not gone to plan. He has been re-assigned to the Canton Charge of the G-League as he waits for contracts to clear out for next year, when he will likely get called back up to the Portland Trail Blazers again. He is still putting in work though. Last night against the Erie BayHawks he scored the gamewinner for the charge on, what else, a rebound putback.

Caleb has played in nine games for the charge and he is averaging 15.6 points and, what else, a team leading 12.9 rebounds. He also has 2.7 assists per game. He is averaging more than four rebounds per game than the next best rebounder. If he had played in enough games he would be second in the entire league in rebounds per game, only behind Amile Jefferson. Last night he had 13 points and 13 rebounds off the bench.
Also int he D-League A.J. Hammons is averaging 8 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. If you live near Canton, Ohio you can see both tonight as the SkyForce play at the Charge tonight at 7pm.
