If you follow me on twitter PurClemsonDue@legendofsm then you’re up to date on these already.
If you don’t follow me on twitter, you probably should because I’m awesome and every now and again I post awesome pictures of my beard. Plus you get to stay up to date on all the Purdue and Clemson goings on, and that, in my opinion, could lead to world peace at some point in the not too distant future.
Anyway, here are a collection of my tweets regarding Purdue football offers over the last two days.
I’ll give you the announcement tweet, and then my quick summary of the important facts tweet.
Blessed and honored to receive another offer from Purdue University!! #Boilerup #Big10⚫️⚫️ pic.twitter.com/SiyXIzpTyr
— Jayden McDonald (@AthKyngJ) January 17, 2018
Jayden is a 3*, 6'2, 200 pound linebacker out of Suwanee, Georgia, with several P5 offers including Iowa and Ole Miss. If Suwanee sounds familiar, it's because Purdue has really focused on that town in Georgia. Pulling Evan Anderson and Payne Durham to W.L. in the 2018 class. https://t.co/4M2UHgbdnh

Extremely blessed to have just received my first B1G offer from Purdue University!! #boilerup pic.twitter.com/RWuKRTv5xJ
— Tyler Nubin (@T_Nubin27) January 17, 2018
Tyler is a 6'2, 185 pound DB out of St. Charles, Illinois. He hasn't been evaluated by the recruiting services yet, but he'll start in the 3* range. Purdue has put a premium on big defensive backs, and Tyler is just that. Glad Purdue is in first on this intriguing prospect. https://t.co/P9i1hWA7bc

Blessed to have received an offer from The University of Purdue #BoilerUp pic.twitter.com/i2QeWtlGyu
— Justin Britt (@brittjus000) January 17, 2018
Britt is a 6'4, 270 pound 3* from Warren Central with offers from Iowa and Louisville in hand. This is the sort of instate talent Purdue needs to keep instate. https://t.co/pdRGrgz7sc

Note: OH...MY....GOD! I KNOW! HE SAID UNIVERSITY OF PURDUE!...DO YOU GUYS SEE THAT!
Guys, sometimes this is going to happen. Your best play is just ignore it and not blow up a kids mentions, so his first impression of Purdue is a bunch of middle aged guys going after him because he put University in the wrong place.
I know, I know, it’s tough, but just take a deep breath. count to 10, and move on past.
Or compose a tweet and delete it.
Or, I don’t know, do whatever you do when you really want to say something, but know you probably shouldn’t.
Thank you to @JeffBrohm and @Coachpoindexter for stopping in today. Blessed and honored to announce that i have received an offer from Purdue University. #BoilerUp pic.twitter.com/6YawNEg9jA
— Larry Tracy (@og_tracy10) January 17, 2018
Tracy is a 2019, 3*, 5'10, 175 DB out of Indianapolis with a string of offers. He's currently committed to Iowa, but you've at least got to ask on of the best players in the state if he's interested. It's a long way until signing day. https://t.co/FijKoWRPBZ

Extremely blessed to say that I have received my fifth offer from Purdue University! #BoilerUp pic.twitter.com/Q4UYbvswRm
— Fabian McCray (@FabianMcCray7) January 15, 2018
Purdue working Illinois for the class of 2019. McCray is a lanky, 6'2, 175 pound WR out of Chicago (Phillips Academy) that can really go get the ball. The Brohm offense has to be intriguing for any offered WR. https://t.co/IjQ6aOiVc6

Very blessed and excited to receive an offer from Purdue pic.twitter.com/X5Vr57iSBN
— 3️⃣ (@runlikejohn) January 15, 2018
Purdue offers 3* RB John Bivens out of Dayton, Oh (Archbishop Alter). At 6'1, 205, Bivens is a physical back with the burst to take it the distance. He reminds me a good bit of current Boilermaker Tario Fuller. https://t.co/lMbURAl653

Blessed to announce that I have received my 9th offer from Purdue University #BoilerNation pic.twitter.com/fUShmbkBPC
— Veinti_Uno (@jirehlbrock) January 15, 2018
Purdue extends an offer to 4* RB Jirehel Brock from Quincy, Ill. The 6'0, 180 pounds (listed by 247) is the real deal, and one of the most explosive running backs in the midwest. It's nice to see Purdue competing for some of the best talent in Illinois. https://t.co/HZvkwo7Ckk
— PurClemsondue (@LegendofSM) January 15, 2018
Summary:
The coaches are out working the Midwest hard. They also hit up Suwanee, Georgia again. Suwanee must have really good sweet tea, because Purdue has basically set up an outpost in a somewhat off the beaten path Georgia town (granted, with a good bit of football talent).
