Bye Week Blues Gameday Thread

Purdue is off this week, and for the first time in years, we actually miss Purdue football during the bye week.

We have the Bye Week Blues all over again, folks.

Luckily for us, there are still plenty of games going on this Saturday. We already saw one Big Ten game last night with Nebraska at Illinois. Now, this is a scheduled post that I am writing on Friday afternoon, well before that game kicked off, so I’ll just use some generic reactions to talk about it:

  • Boy, that sure was a slugfest.
  • I can’t believe how that game ended.
  • LOLlinois
  • Mike Riley’s seat is going to keep Lincoln warm this fall.
  • If Illinois wants to win a B1G game in Champaign, they should hire Darrell Hazell.
  • Bo Pelini is stroking his cat and just smiling while watching this game.
  • I don’t think Nebraska has to worry about stopping at 9 wins this season.
  • Illinois would fire Lovie Smith, but they don’t have a cannon.

Below is a table with all the Big Ten games going on this weekend, as well as Purdue’s non-conference opponents this season. For a full list of all college football games going on this weekend, check out our weekly TV guide post from yesterday.
