Purdue Football Visits Youth Football League

On and off the field, we have great guys.

Jeff Brohm continues to make this football team better, on and off the field. Yesterday, a few of the players, including David Blough, went to visit a local youth football league.

David Blough has been doing it since he has been here. He is great for our local community and just a great representative of Purdue.

Jeff Brohm has already improved our play on the field, as we have seen with our 2-2 start, but competing with both Louisville and Michigan. But, off the field there has been an even greater presence with the players.

I am unsure if that is something Jeff Brohm has instilled more of a presence with or if maybe it is David Blough, with his great leadership skills dragging more and more players to volunteer.

You can see in the video, Markell Jones says, in the end, this is a game and we have to have fun. A lot of players and coaches lose that fact, you have to think that with the new staff these players are having a lot of fun with the new style of offense and support they are getting from fans.

With living in the greater Lafayette/West Lafayette community, you see the players out and about doing great things all the time. With it being a bye week, I am sure they wanted to get their faces out there again.

Thanks for being awesome, Purdue Football.
