Is there such a thing as frustration at losing to the No. 8 team in America? I think so. When Wilton Speight is knocked form the game but John O’Korn outplays him. When Purdue busts its ass but isn’t quite there. When a 10-7 lead felt like it might actually hold up.
Yes, the Twitter reaction was frustraiting, but better days are ahead:
It's the "Brohm Effect", like the "Genesis Effect" from Star Trek. Life from non-life. #BoilerUp #BeatMichigan @BoilerFootball

times are different bro either we win or we go down swinging haymakers, no disappointment when you go down fighting like hell https://t.co/FeEqRI5FyF

@HammerAndRails this just feels like a real college football atmosphere. And it's ABOUT DAMN TIME!

@HammerAndRails @BoilerFootball #austinboilers are ready for a #Purdue vs #michigan war!! pic.twitter.com/BTrYTKu5hA

It's strange that Michigan can have Purdue in a 3rd & 28 and I'm wondering what crazy trickeration Jeff Brohm has up his sleeve here.
— Drew Hallett (@DrewCHallett) September 23, 2017
a full Ross Ade is the most beautiful thing in the world
— Aneesh Ramaswamy (@aneeshswamy) September 23, 2017
Pretty smart of Michigan to avoid their biggest weakness by never making it into the red zone, IMO
— Alejandro Zúñiga (@ByAZuniga) September 23, 2017
Is it too far to say at this point Purdue D looks as good as Michigan D? @HammerAndRails #BoilerUp
— BenjaminSchott (@BenjaminSchott) September 23, 2017
I continue to be impressed by the Purdue defense. I expected a competent offense from the Boilermakers this year. Didn’t expect the defense.
— Tom Fornelli (@TomFornelli) September 23, 2017
Sindelar sliced and diced the overpursuit of the Michigan D. Game on in WestLaf.
— Pete Helland (@petehelland) September 23, 2017
This is why two QB approach can work for #Purdue. Sindelar better arm, better suited for those cross-field passes. Can switch situationally.

Brohm awareness boost: +39 to all players.

Targeting calls suck! Purdue LB about to get booted from the game bc the Michigian WR was sliding low for the ball. Targeting/Smargeting

Illinois fans are now outraged that H&R condones dirty play (/sarcasm) https://t.co/llFd9WTbOl

@HammerAndRails Air went out of my basement when we missed the sack at the 5. Same thing at R-A? It was easier when we sucked all the time.
— Anthony Rufatto (@1F2Ts) September 23, 2017
It is astounding how different Purdue looks this year. Everything about them feels together, fast, poised. Remarkable turnaround so far
— Mike Hall (@BTNMikeHall) September 23, 2017
Lol. Michigan will likely win this, but #8 Michigan eking out a win against Purdue is nothing to be cocky about
— Harrison Metz (@HarrisonMetz) September 23, 2017
did you really think He Who Walks Behind The Rows would allow you to escape, Purdue
— Holly Anderson (@HollyAnderson) September 23, 2017
Right now is where #Purdue's lack of a go-to guy on the perimeter really shows up. Who do you go to when you HAVE to get a first down?
— Nathan Baird (@nbairdjc) September 23, 2017
Maybe it's not surprising that we can't tackle the QB. Most O'Korn on the cob has butter on it.
— Juan (@Air_Force_Juan) September 23, 2017
No moral victories and all that jazz, but biggest Ross-Ade crowd since '08 and Purdue football was a media topic all week. That's progress.

Even though I was right, I'll give respect where respect is due. Purdue gave a good scare. Will be a tough opponent for all Big 10 teams! pic.twitter.com/40lRGbVACC
