Welcome to the biggest home game in more than a decade for Purdue. The Boilers are an expected underdog, but facing a top 10 team at home with a legitimate chance to actually win is huge. Today is an opportunity to take a major step forward for the entire program. A win skyrockets expectations and might even have some larger Big Ten implications. A loss, at least as it is competitive, would be a sign that Purdue is prepared to scare the bejesus out of the best teams in the Big Ten.
I don’t want to scare a team though. We did that already when we faced Louisville in Indianapolis. It is time to go out and win one of these games. The Michigan Wolverines are very, very good, but they are also vulnerable with a defense that has struggled to finish drives. If that keeps up Purdue will be in this one until the end.
Juan and T-Mill are at the game, so let’s do this.
