Coach Brohm Says Thank You

With one more victory this season Jeff Brohm can be a third of the way to Darrell Hazell’s win total. He has five chances to match his home Big Ten win total yet this season. In every metric he has out-performed his predecessor, but this week he found another way to endear himself.

For the second straight game the student section is sold out. In an effort to actually reach out to the fans, coach Brohm offered a thank you in the Purdue Exponent today:

I just received word that the student section for the Homecoming game against Michigan is SOLD OUT!

Your football team and coaching staff appreciate you for being “all in” with us this season.

The reception you gave us for the home opener against Ohio was tremendous.

We’re going to need that — plus a little extra — against the Wolverines on Saturday.

I’d also like to invite you to come join the Big Ten Network’s Tailgate Show on the lawn in front of Cary Quad from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday morning. Bring your signs, be loud and help show the nation what the Boilermakers are all about!
