A few weeks ago it was noted that Purdue made the Final 8 for Louis King, one of the top rated national recruits in the class of 2018. on August 29 he announced a top 8 consisting of the following:
Maryland
Seton Hall
UConn
Syracuse
Kansas
Purdue
North Carolina State
Oregon
Today he narrowed that list to a top 5 a follows:

King is rated 23rd nationally by Rivals and 21st by ESPN. Maryland, Syracuse, and UConn have both fallen out of the running. needless to say, landing King would be a huge recruiting get for coach Painter.
Now we enter the critical stage. A player gets as many as five official visits, and with a final five narrowed down it seems like Purdue stands a great chance to nab one of those precious visits.
I have no idea where we stand with him, but making the cut to this point is a great sign. He would be a great addition at small forward.
