Tomorrow the Jeff Brohm era kicks off in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium and we’re all excited to see if Jeff Brohm can clean up the mess left for him. It is going to be a long, hard road back, but at least we should look good for the journey. Thanks to Katie George on Twitter we now have a look at a new helmet style Purdue will be using tomorrow from the locker for David Blough:

The action P on the helmet is different. It has a new border that showcases the gold as opposed to a previous silver border. It seems to be a different shade of black (if such a thing exists).
It's a small change, but they changed the outline of the Action P on the helmets. I like it, looks slick. pic.twitter.com/oZj1B9Lavn

The uniforms themselves do not have a significant change, but this also confirms that Purdue will be in black for tomorrow’s game.
So what do you think of the new look? To my knowledge, this is the first time we have had a gold helmet without the silver border around the P. I am not sure if it is permanent, but I do like it.
Update: It looks like the change is mostly a branding issue:
Branding. Using our correct one-color P logo that we introduced several years ago. The past P was never really correct. pic.twitter.com/wo23HLtfqd
