Purdue’s deepest and best position is probably running back, where any of five guys could end up starting this season. Today we feature one guy that has already done a decent job in limited time.
Tario Fuller – So.

Running Back
2017 Projection: Contributor at Running Back
Fuller started last season strong, but was buried back behind others as the season went on. He received the first pass of the season against Eastern Kentucky and nearly took it all the way. He would finish the season with 10 carries for 30 yards and 5 receptions for 51 yards because he playing time dwindled over time.
Fuller had a good offseason though. He was the surprise starter in the spring game and is in line to possibly be the starter when this season begins. He can also be used on kickoff returns, where his speed and shiftiness will be assets.
We also can’t forget he is a very good dude. During his redshirt year in 2015 he made headlines off the field for doing the right thing. He was at Target in Lafayette and purchased toys for a young girl’s birthday that he randomly ran into.
