Shuman had a modest debut as a freshman last year, giving him a chance for more playing time this year if he can nab a starting spot. He ended up playing in four different games, but only had a single tackle in terms of stats.
He does bring a decent amount of speed to the field, which helps. He was a four-year letter winner at the prestigious Gulliver Prep in Miami. He also lettered in track. He is also taking a grueling academic program by majoring in engineering. This season he could play a little more on special teams, but there is also cornerback spot up for grabs too.
