After a tough game last night that went to overtime against Israel PurdUeSA is back on the court less than 24 hours later. Vince Edwards is also expected to play after a foot injury took him off the floor in the first half. It was a rough game, but a late three in overtime by Dakota Mathias saved us and sent us to the quarterfinals to face Serbia tonight at 12:30AM ET.

The Serbians had their own close call. They pulled out a tight 85-84 win over Finland in double overtime, so they might have tired legs as well. Nemanja Nenadic has 17 points, including the game-winning basket with 21 seconds left in the second overtime.

This will not be an easy game. Serbia was 4-1 in the group stage with wins over Latvia90-87, Chinese Taipei 82-64, Hungary 70-62, and South Korea 91-64. They lost to Mexico 89-83, but this is a good team with one win already over one of the semifinalists. Latvia upset Germany to reach the semifinals and will play Lithuania.
