2017 Projection: Contributor on Special Teams

Wes Cook is the older brother of Wyatt Cook, who was a member of the 2015 recruiting class. Wes transferred into Purdue from East Carolina to play with his brother, and both played a little last season for the first time. Wyatt had two tackles in three games before leaving the program. Wes played a little more, seeing action in 7 games on special teams and also notching two tackles.

As a senior Wes is probably going to be more of a special teams contributor once again, which is a good thing. It is good to have experienced players on the kickoff and punt squads, so if he can play there, more power to him.
