Team USA should be heavily favored today in the FIBA U-19 World Cup. It is their second of three pool play games and they will be taking on the African nation of Angola. Angola, if you’ll remember, was the team that the original Dream Team defeated 116-48 in the first game of the 1992 Summer Olympics.
Angola has gotten a lot better at basketball since then, and I doubt that Team USA is the second coming of the greatest team in human history. Carsen Edwards gets to test his mettle against them today.

Tomorrow will be one of the rare off days in this tournament. Team USA does not play again until facing off against Italy on Tuesday morning. As usual, we will have another open thread and a link to where you can watch it live right here. The elimination rounds then begin on Wednesday.
