Willie is a 6’3”, 250 Pound defensive end out of Winter Haven High School in Winter Haven, Florida. Coach Brohm has continued to put an emphasis on the trenches with his latest commit.
This is our 3rd defensive line commit in the 2018 class, Willie joins Lawrence Johnson and Connor Parks. He could potentially be the 4th lineman if Jack Cravaack ends up being a defensive lineman instead of a tight end.
According to Willie’s Twitter, he boasts an impressive 3.7 GPA. These are the type of kids that Coach Brohm said he was going to recruit, talented football players, but kids that are smart that can learn both on and off the field.
I can’t find a rating on him on 247 or Rivals, but after his commitment he will more than likely move up to a 2 or 3 star prospect. I found that his other D1 offer comes from USF.
Welcome to West Lafayette, Willie! Boiler Up!
