Coach Brohm and his staff nailed their 10th verbal commitment this evening in Connor Park, a defensive end out of Florida.

I would go ahead and categorize this verbal as a soft one. Literally, in his tweet, it says that he isn’t just shutting his recruitment down yet. Which obviously worries me. Rivals has Connor ranked as a 2* prospect currently, but according to his Twitter profile he is a 3* prospect elsewhere.
He is a long and tall athletic defensive end. Standing at 6’4, 230 pounds, he is the type of end that Coach Holt loves, as he can get in the quick passing game lanes. His long arms will help him rush and shed blocks to make tackles in the backfield.
You could say I am cautiously optimistic about this verbal. I would love to keep him, as he is one hell of a defensive end. Seems like a great fit for our program currently as well. But, when you say in your twitter message, “Not going to shut my recruitment all the way down just yet..” there is reason for skepticism.
Welcome aboard, Connor. I hope you stick with us and sign that National Letter of Intent to play for our Boilermakers! Boiler Up!
