Summer practice sessions started today and Purdue sets to practice all summer in preparation for the World University Games in Taiwan. As part of those preparations, Purdue will play a pair of exhibitions on August 11 and August 12. The August 11 game will be at Carmel High School, while the August 12 exhibition will be across town at Lafayette Jeff High School.
We now know the opponent for those games too, as Purdue will take on Team Canada:

So bring out your maple syrup and poutine. Purdue will begin its tour for world conquest against those hosers up north. I’d imagine that we’re playing Canada because they are (relatively) close by.
The August 11 game will be at 7pm and the August 12 game at 4pm. Here are the prices for the games:
Tickets to the exhibition game in Carmel are all general admission and available for $20 for adults and $10 for youth (12 and under). Tickets for the Lafayette Jefferson game are also general admission and available for $20 (lower), $10 (upper adult) and $5 (upper youth). Proceeds from the game will help fund Team USA’s trip to Taipei.
Tickets are available July 6, and can be purchased by calling the Purdue Athletics ticket office at 800.49SPORT or online at PurdueSports.com.
The games themselves start on August 20th against Argentina.
