This Day in H&R History: The Decision, Caleb Swanigan

I woke up this morning not knowing to really post. Then, in my morning ritual of checking Facebook, I had a “2 years ago you posted this” thing come up.

It was a day that where we were still dissecting Caleb Swanigan’s recruitment. The day we basically decided it was down to us or Cal, after he decommitted from MSU.

This was the cover page from our fearless leader, T-Mill.

This was right around a year before I started writing for H&R. I was a religious reader of the blog, and of course I was salivating over the chance to sign Biggie, which would end being the biggest signing since Big Dog.

I had people commenting on my Facebook.. “He is going to Duke”, “Why would he come to Purdue?”, “He is too good for Purdue.”

We know how the rest ended, it is history now. Currently we are on #BiggieWatch2017, after being on #BiggieWatch2015 & #BiggieWatch2016, it is a tradition now. We wait to see if he will stay in the NBA or not.
