Basketball Signing Day: Sasha Stefanovic Signs with Purdue

Purdue officially adds its fifth member of the 2017 class.

Eden Ewing, Aaron Wheeler, Nojel Eastern, and Matt Haarms all signed officially with Purdue during the early signing period back in November. Haarms later got on campus in January and practiced with the team in the second half of the season. Today we added the fifth member of the recruiting class As Sasha Stefanovic from Crown Point officially signed his LOI:

Stefanovic gives Matt Painter another shooter to throw on the floor. He is a three-star recruit according to rivals who is in the Dakota Mathias and Ryan Cline mold. He should be a solid player in the long run for us.

In other recruiting new, the final Rivals 150 for 2017 was released and it had some good news for Purdue. Aaron Wheeler jumped into the final 150 at No. 149, joining Eastern in the top 150. Eastern also finishes as the No. 73 player nationally in the 2017 recruiting class.
