Purdue has one in-state recruit for the class of 2017, and today he was named an Indiana All-Star. Sasha Stefanovic of Crown Point was named to the 13-member Indiana All-Star team that will play the juniors June 6th and 8th and Kentucky June 10th and 11th:
Sasha Stefanovic, Crown Point: The 6-4 Stefanovic led Crown Point to a 22-4 record as a senior as he averaged 19.9 points and 6.9 rebounds. He set the school’s all-time scoring record with 1,385 points. College: Purdue
Stefanovic is not the only All-Star we will see over the next few years. Several Purdue opponents have come to Indiana for talent:
Cooper Neese - Cloverdale - The Mr. basketball finalist is headed to Butler.
Zach Gunn - Hamilton Southeastern - Gunn is headed to Ball State, who could appear on future schedules.
Jack Nunge - Castle - The 6’10” big man is headed to Iowa.
